Have you ever questioned why you do the things you do?
Or why you like the things you like?
Does any of it have any meaning?
I bet if you looked at your life, some things would have significantly more meaning to you than others.
May it be something sentimental, a habit that you learned from your mom, or even something that reminds you of a special moment.
The things we love the most, the things we cherish the most, always have a strong meaning behind them.
It is funny to me, that we do not apply this to everything in life.
If we truly want to change something, bring in a new habit, or start something new, wouldn't it make sense to give it a shit ton of meaning?
Would it not help to have whatever you are doing be tied to a true purpose or reason that you value?
That way, when things get tough, or when you want to quit, the meaning you have for that item or task will keep you going.
So, I ask you again, what is your meaning?
Why do you do the things you do?
Why do you have the things you have?
Is it for you? Is it because society says you should? Is it for someone else?
Put meaning into everything you do, and you might not find it so hard to do things.
Then, you might also realize some things don't mean as much to you as you thought they did.
