This week I realized something. I was trying to put it into a solid concept all week when it finally clicked tonight.
Like I have said and will continue to say, God will send you messages in many ways you just have to pay attention.
So tonight, Caleb and I went to our friend’s house and had an incredible conversation that solidified everything I have been trying to work out in my head this week.
This is the thought that time is irrelevant.
Now I don't mean time is irrelevant as in we should not respect it, learn how to manage it, and constantly strive for more of it.
I mean time is irrelevant as in if something is true and you believe it is true, why does time matter at all?
Just like money, if you do not think about it as something you need, or something that changes your inner worth, then what does it matter how much you have?
You still strive for of it, you still should work to manage it, and you should constantly respect what it can do for you.
Time is the same exact concept. If you believe in something, what does it matter how much time it will take? If you believe it to be a fact that it will happen, then it will and that is what matters.
Talking to our friends tonight we were discussing having faith and how we are not meant for this world. We were talking about how long living for a hundred years seems to be, but we have faith in an eternal life.
That is when it all made sense. It is not the point of how long life seems to be. Whether it is 20 years, 40 years, or 100, that is not the point. The point is whether what you choose to believe is fact. If you truly believe in something as fact, what does how long it takes to be proven to you matter?
For example, we all believe in gravity, right? So why don't you wake up and question gravity every day? We all just accept the law of gravity and that is the way it is.
So, if we believe in God, or our dreams, and we truly honestly believe in them, there should be no stress of time or question on if it will not happen one day.
We should just accept it as fact, as a truth that just is, and stop questioning it every day. We waste so much mental energy trying to guess when we’ll be proved right or stressing about if our dreams will happen rather than just accepting it as fact and letting it happen.
I know this is easier said than done, and there are a lot of other factors to think about.
But.... think about it and try to maybe apply it.
