The Real Goal

Everyone has different goals in life. We all have our financial goals, family goals, physical goals etc. We all grind away every day to get better in one or more of these areas. Often running towards our goals and rarely stopping to remember what life is about.

Yes, working towards goals and creating the best version of yourself is the right thing to do, but are you doing it for the right reasons?

This is where I believe we often miss the point of self-improvement. We are not here to just hit goals. We are here to help others and show the world what is possible when we hit goals.

The goal in our world today, especially in our world today, is to help and love others.

Improving yourself should make you realize how human you are. How beautifully imperfect you are. You know that you're not always going to do the right thing, sometimes you'll fuck up, and sometimes you just out right gave up. By improving yourself, you realize all the holes in your game, and you start trying to fix them, right?

So, why don't we do this with others? Why do we not accept that they are human too? I have a common problem where I will expect things from people and become very bitter, angry, or annoyed when they do not hit what I expected.

Now, this is all relative. I think it is a very good thing to hold people too standards and expect certain things. Although, I think we often place people in a realm outside of our own. We forget to step back and think, this person is just human, and I need to love them for being just as imperfect at times as me.

We don't have to agree with everyone, hell you don't even have to get along with everyone. The point here isn't to let everyone in the world fuck off and be cruddy people because "we all make mistakes". The point is to remember why we become better ourselves, it is for others to see it is possible. When we are better, the world around us gets better. The point is to step back and remember you are learning to love yourself, along with all your imperfections.

The real goal is to learn to love yourself and push past all the imperfections, and then execute that same system into the lives of other people. Remember we are all human and the real goal is to work together, love each-other, and push everyone past their imperfections.

Dogs do this best, love the world like your dog loves you.
