Keep Your Intentions True

Lately I have been asking God for answers to a lot of life questions.

I went to church today, and I think the reading was a great response to all my prayers.

This was todays reading:

Phil 4: 6-9

"Have no anxiety at all, but in everything,

by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,

make your requests known to God.

Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding

will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Finally, brothers and sisters,

whatever is true, whatever is honorable,

whatever is just, whatever is pure,

whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious,

if there is any excellence

and if there is anything worthy of praise,

think about these things.

Keep on doing what you have learned and received

and heard and seen in me.

Then the God of peace will be with you."

Sometimes, we can't have all the answers. Even though we desperately want to know what is next.

But, if we are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, gracious, and excellent, we will have peace. If our intentions are true, we will receive the answers we are looking for.

We should not be thinking about not having the answers, we should be thinking about what we intend to do until the answer is revealed.

That should be what matters in the end right? Can you really come up with the wrong answer if all you are trying to do live a life God would be proud of?

Just something to ease your anxiety if you are impatient like me.
